Spark Plug Wear Patterns
By Geistware

{short description of image}
Below are three groups of twelve pictures that explain different wear patterns that spark plugs can experience in a two cycle internal combustion engine. Most of us will experience reduced performance with our Radio Controlled planes before we ever see wear as severe as shown.
The groups are as follows:
  1. Normal, Sooted, Oil Fouled, Lead Fouled
  2. Pronounced Lead Fouled, Formation of Ash, Center and Ground Electrode Damage
  3. Extreme Electrode Damage, Heavy Wear, Fractured Insulator
