The Hanger 9 - 1/3 Scale Cap 232
with a BME 102 is a great
flying plane and a joy to watch.

I purchased this plane from John Roberts on June 11th, 2004.

The plane has the following:
BME 102 with J&A mufflers.
NX 26x10 propeller
MSC 26x10 propeller
(spare)
Petemodel CF spinner
HS-5945's on all surfaces
HS-5475 digital - throttle
HS-81 micro - choke
2 - 6v 2700 mah NiMH packs on receiver
4.8v 2700 mah NiMH pack on ignition
i4C onboard voltage monitor in cockpit
CF pushrods / Nelson ball links all around.

I purchased this plane from John Roberts on June 11th, 2004. The H9 Cap has a BME 102 for power. I presently get 5750 rpm using the MSC 26x10 propeller and 6000 rpm a 26x10nx propeller. I find that the engine gets about 300rpm less speed with premium gas compared with regular gas when mixed with Amsoil 100:1 oil. In October 2004, I added a 3W carburetor air intake manifold with a carburetor diaphragm cover thanks to Ralph at RC Ignitions. While the engine rpm did not increase, I now NEVER have to clean my plane due to gas spilling from the carb. It seems that I was loosing a lot of fuel through the cowl's airflow siphoning fuel from the carburetor. After 427 flights I noticed one of my cylinders cutting out while in flight. After sending it off to C&H Ignitions, it was discovered that the ignition had a bad coil. I am now having both coils and the ignition wires replaced.
