Da Hangar - Edge 540
Return to Index
The Wild
Hare Edge 540 with a
Brison 3.2 c.i engine is an excellent flying plane.
My Wild Hare Edge 540 had it's maiden voyage on December
26, 2003 and it is by far the most responsive plane I have ever owned.
I powered this plane with a Brison 3.2 c.i. engine. Following some
trimming and radio setup time, I can quickly see this is going to
be one of my favorite planes. I see no issues with this plane's flying
characteristics or how it was built. The CG is 4.75 inches aft and
the plane weighs in at 18 lbs (16lbs fuselage & 2lbs main wings)
which equates to a wing loading of 30.72 oz/sqft.
